Watch out I heard their quite venomous and they also sneak up on unsuspecting swimmers!.

It actually said that it's 20 per year for horses in general, but ponies and horses are the same species so I decided to use it.

I'm not sure how accurate the numbers are, since this information was found through one or two quick google searches.
